Policy Regarding Pets, ESA, Service Animals

Despite encouragement from us at Bella Vegas Homes Realty, not every property allows pets. That decision ultimately lies with the owner. When allowed, the general rule is 2 pets maximum. Dogs, cats and ferrets are considered pets. Snakes, fish and other critters are not considered pets and can still live in the house. Farm animals such as chickens may be considered with special permission and within the legal requirements of the jurisdiction of where the house is located.

Pet Policy Requirements:

1. Photo
2. Vaccine records showing the animal(s) is current
3. Completed pet application (provided)
4. Additional refundable deposit of $500 (unless ad states otherwise)

ESA and Service Animals are allowed on all properties as per state and national laws, and as per good practice. No deposit is required. The below documents are required prior to signing a lease.

1. Photo
2. Vaccine records showing the animal(s) is current
3. Completed Addendum for Assistance Animals (provided)
4. Prescription notice by a licensed therapist or medical doctor stating a need for such an animal. The notice must be dated, may not be older than one year, and must contain contact information.
5. Notice that the animal is a service animal. The notice must contain the animal name. Sometimes, this notice is contained in the above described prescription notice.
