Anti-Discrimination Policy – Property Management and Sales
BVHR does not discriminate in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), handicap (disability), in accordance to Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act). In addition, as per Nevada Law NRS 118, BVHR prohibits discrimination due to ancestry, transgendered people and sexual orientation.

Quantity of People – Property Management
BVHR uses HUD guidelines to restrict the occupancy in a house to 2 occupants per bedroom, with consideration to size of bedrooms being larger or smaller than typical. A person of any age, including children and infants, is an occupant. If applicants are expecting children either by birth or adoption, the expectant children are not considered in calculating occupancy limits.

Disability Compliance – Property Management
BVHR will make reasonable accommodations to suit the needs of a potential tenant. Should a persons of disability require modification to a home to accommodate their disability, BVHR will allow the modifications at the tenants expense as prescribed by law.
